 Aeromed
: Aeromed is a Puerto Rican air ambulance airline company. Its equipment consists mostly of helicopters.
Based at Isla Grande Airport in San Juan, the airline concentrates its operations on flying critically injured or sick passengers to Centro Medico and other area hospitals. Aeromed also transports passengers in critical condition who are in the rest of Puerto Rico. Apart from flying patients, Aeromed helicopters have also been used in other rescue missions, such as emergency evacuations, etc. Aeromed operates the MBB/Kawasaki BK 117 helicopter for its operations.
